The primary purpose of the human spirit is one of either Option: through will or pleasure, or Adoption: through the acceptance of fact in any arena or thought.
The physical and mental faculties of man opt for these categories also, but are fragmented through attrition of the internal probes and functions of the attributes of the mind.
Ultimate control of these areas are exercised by the masses as; the exterior environment and the acceptance of geographic embodiments - rather than free will or non bias processes - the learned barter of the congenial personal class and status of forward looking movements.
In the establishment of a spiritual life among the common populous a renaissance has given itself to unprecedented eruptions of established norms and mores of the historical evolution of religion, through prophets and priests, into the arenas of self-proclaimed spiritual guides, arriving to pinnacles within society, by duping their followers with poetic clichés that hold no true substance.
The historic uniformity of western religion seems to be fading in the perpetual shadow of ever-emerging cults and orders. The stronghold of historic foundations is beginning to crumble - not for the lack of truth - but as repeating itself. History, through the pressurized and synthesized religious coups of the past can not update its approach to modern man.
The question can be asked "is there salvation any longer for the traditional realm of religion"? For the culture of post-European migration of religious theology and thought is muddied by the lives lead today.
Modern man is a non-conformist to tradition but a strong advocate towards new and seemingly euphoric experiences - mental, artificial or spiritual. To channel this inward throng to reassurance, to truth, will undoubtedly take more than the tradition of religion.
Fear is no longer a tool to conformity.
The sphere of the intellect of man is being stretched to its limits. As a control group through each century, an intellectual mind that fathoms deeper and deeper mysteries of the universe in which it lives.
It appears to be unfortunate that the majority of the charismatic and fundamentalist movements today are one of segregation and isolationism, focused on the securing of funds and the overshadowing of miracles through the media.
Believers of these movements are indeed plentiful, with their existence one of intolerance and a narrow-mindedness that centers on conformity.
"If you have the candle of knowledge, let others light their candles at it". This more has been discarded by the present theological mind and replaced by a more universal thought, that -"If one needs knowledge, let him seek the light for himself, to enlighten himself to the truth of understanding". The new order has regressed in mind rather than progressed as claimed in modern thought.
A paradox is visible here but what solution can be given? The interpretation of spiritual meaning is not one of blanket thought; either by founded fathers of faith, nor young spiritualists. Modern man through the enlightened direction of spirit, rather than vulnerability of processes, which lead man as if he wore blinders, must find the truth.
Modern man must insulate himself to the pitfall of intellectualism and the financial sponsors of feces that create human waste that spews doubt and insurrection within oneself.
The complexities of modern life are stringent it seems, without a reliance upon outward expression masking the inward need. Inward capabilities are present to sustain every man, without facades or spiritualism or non-conformity.
The tapping of inward ideals and the flow of the spirit may be sufficient for the minority of modern men who have and will continue to possess person strength and forbearance - for The Others, all lessons may be an exercise in futility.
Modern man operates through Option, whereas, immemorial man operates through Adoption. Option, the furtherance ofpleasure of the will is present through every movement of society, culture, politics and religion.
The carryover of the school of thought in the 1960's. Traditional values and morals have faded in the emergence of free thinking men and his counterpart, the free society. With no firm foundations of years and the previous strengths afforded eras of theology, the new movement is founded in the hopes of a new society, based on goodwill and peace with all men, as long as they look like you.
Adoption theology appeared more realistic and accepted the free will of mortal man with the realization that not every man would free himself to believe in this own well-being. This realization sustained the school for centuries and today is the only fabric holding tradition to the present.
These tow seemingly compatible arenas of truth, the conflict driving modern man - either headstrong into idealism or towards quaint ritualism and favoritism - culminating in an epoch of ignorance.
Within ones self there lies the capacity for realization. Spiritual realism is as valid today through reliance on personal choice through truth.
Caution must be the by-word for all spiritual growth and forward movement, with an underlying consciousness to the aspects of the here and now, directly coupled with the future.
